French Louis Mahogany King Size Bed
£625.00
This French Louis Mahogany King Size Bed is hand carved and beautifully finished in a Louis XV style with double layer rattan detail. Supplied semi assembled (five minute job to put together with the help of a friend) as head and footboard, side rails and centre rail and slats.
Takes a UK king size mattress of 150 x 200cm.
This piece of furniture is made from mahogany and rattan. The construction is very sturdy with traditional joints and fixings. The shade of the rattan varies slightly from one batch to another which adds to the uniqueness of each bed. If this is important to the look of your bedroom please ask what we have available.
We recommend using a bedbase (available from us) to improve your comfort, and to protect and prolong the lifetime of your mattress. If you decide to put the mattress straight on the slats we would always recommend a full mattress protector as the slats may mark the mattress. Details of our bedbases can be viewed by clicking here.

Description
All our furniture is handmade and finished, and there may be very minor variation in the shade or pigmentation between individual pieces. Minor imperfections to the finish are to be anticipated and expected and should not be considered as defects. With painted finishes some paint settling will occur. This simply adds to the character of the furniture. We select orders of multiple items from batch numbers that are close together in number to keep the look as consistent as possible. The overall finish is far more attractive than anything mass produced, and will look absolutely right in any setting.
